Nature of the site
Theologia Reformata is a free pedagogical resource devoted to the comparative study of the Christian traditions (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant), their scriptural sources, their history and their systematic theology.
The site offers study modules, interactive flashcards, quizzes, pedagogical conversations with a fictional character (Professor Tryphon Goldberg) and a programme of academic progression.
The site offers no commercial service, carries no advertising and sells no product or service. Registration is free and optional.
Editorial position
Theologia Reformata aims to be rigorously comparative and confessionally neutral. The positions of the three great Christian confessional families (Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestant in its branches) are presented even-handedly, drawing on the primary textual sources (the Scriptures, councils, confessions of faith) and on contemporary academic exegetical literature.
The site is affiliated with no Church, no ecclesiastical institution and no allegiance. It does not represent any particular confessional position of its author.
The content follows international academic standards (SBL references for the Scriptures, systematic citation of primary and secondary sources, transparency about contested positions).
Intellectual property
All editorial content (texts, flashcards, quizzes, illustrations, structure) is the exclusive intellectual property of KMN, protected by Swiss copyright law (CopA) and the applicable international conventions.
Short quotations (biblical verses, extracts from patristic works, quotations from theologians) are reproduced under the right of short quotation for pedagogical purposes, with systematic acknowledgement of the source.
The biblical translations used are explicitly indicated in each module (TOB, Bible de Jérusalem, Segond 21, Nova Vulgata, as the case may be).
Any reproduction, display, distribution or exploitation of the content, in whole or in part, for purposes other than personal consultation, is subject to the prior written agreement of the author. For any request: contact@theologia-reformata.ch.
Pedagogical use in schools, parishes or universities is generally granted free of charge on a simple reasoned request.
External links
The site contains links to external resources (institutional sites, digital archives, academic publishers). Theologia Reformata exercises no control over the content of those sites and disclaims all liability for the information published there.
Providing a link to an external resource constitutes neither an editorial endorsement, nor an affiliation, nor institutional support.
Limitation of liability
The content of Theologia Reformata is strictly informative and pedagogical in character. It in no way constitutes pastoral advice, the official doctrinal position of any Church, legal consultation or personal spiritual counsel.
For personal spiritual, doctrinal or pastoral guidance, visitors are invited to consult a minister of their own tradition (priest, pastor, rabbi or imam, as the case may be).
Professor Tryphon Goldberg is a fictional pedagogical character. His answers, even when generated by artificial intelligence, cannot replace the opinion of a qualified theologian or of an ordained minister.
The publisher endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the information published but cannot guarantee that it is entirely free from error. Any correction reported will be examined and dealt with as promptly as possible via the contact form.
